SUMMARY

Students will be able to have the experience of different cultures and get effective communicative skills via drama. Our project is focused on theatre to enable pupils to learn and practise the target language and to have the knowledge of different cultures by interacting with each other.

Schools and teachers need each other to learn more, interact effectively and explore new perspectives. We are sure that, for most pupils, this will be a springboard to new individual experiences abroad, they will enjoy experiencing face-to-face English communication in real-life situations, interacting with other cultures, building up a good relationship with their European fellows in a comfortable atmosphere, out of their comfort area.

English will be the common language for the whole project and communication. Multilingualism is one of the cornerstones of the European project and a powerful symbol of the EU’s aspiration to be united in diversity. Meetings will be opportunities to live “EU citizenship”, it will bring Europe closer to schools.

Workshops will be held to make sure that all participants are able to improve social and communication skills in a proper and modern way using email, social networks, video conferences, twitter, skipe,… etc. workshops about changing some parts of the play (such as the ending), presenting cultural and traditional values (such as food, folk dance, folk songs, costumes),having a chat by an expert on drama, presenting the drama activities of the schools and local communities of each partner, taking rehearsals with different performers from different countries, performing a play with actors and actresses (students) from different countries to the families and other students in the region.

Each country will host a LTT meeting so students will have the chance to get closer to different culture, values and traditions what is the target goal of all Erasmus+ projects.
